Flowers of the month (April, 2021)

Hi, this is Shire. Thank you very much for coming to my room again!

Here is my flower arrangement in April, 2021 at the Shamballa School (imaginary school in Shamballa). Please use your maximum imagination to feel the amazing extravaganza of cherry blossoms (Feel free to have a party underneath the flowers at the lobby, LOL)!

My arrangement idea has already been realized at the school lobby which you can access, take a look at whenever you do “imagine” it. Below, the presentation is hopefully a guide for you to enjoy the imaginary yet fun & beautiful arrangement.

April 2021 〜Cherry blossoms〜

The design & idea by Shire

Yes, it’s time for the beautiful cherry blossoms! I have been arranging this beautiful, noble and delicate flowers several times since I started working on the lobby flowers in 2015. In this time, instead of setting one large arrangement, I did place different types of those flowers in several different settings/vases. You can enjoy the extravaganza of cherry blossoms in this one place!

Here is the image (idea) of the placement of sakura (cherry blossoms) arrangement:

*Left-side (2 doors) next to the lobby is the auditorium, right-side (2 automated doors) is the library, and the back-side (1 door) is the school cafe.
Flowers: Cherry blossoms

The big circle of pink color is the arrangement of double cheery blossoms (super large) which does really look like this image especially the left:

The 2 smaller pale pink circles right at the stairs are the long & tall branches of “Somei-yoshino” cherry blossoms (they are the ones blooming at the Capitol in Washington DC).

The 2 large circles (pale pink) at the back of lobby are the mixture of several different kinds of cherry blossoms including the Somei-yoshino, Kawazu-sakura, mountain blossoms, etc. There are actually around 200 or so kinds of cherry blossoms in Japan!

Flower Vase (large ceramic vases)

I guess these white & blue ceramic vases have been my favorites in these days (I used similar style last month!). For the ones at the stairs, you can see the tall vases while the round ones (actual size should be really big) for those large arrangements. The paintings for the vases are of course, cherry blossoms🌸

Please visit the imaginary school in Shamballa so that you will be able to see & smell the beautiful flowers💖
