Quotes by Shamballa-4☆シャンバラ語録-4

Hi, this is Shire. Thank you very much for coming to my room again♪

Q. Would you be able to tell us what’s all about “self-responsibility”?

– from “Request for the blog, 1” February 20th, 2018 (Original entry in Japanese)

There are 2 main things we, readers of “Beth’s blog” have been told: “Do not believe it” and “Please read this (blog) on your own responsibility.” I like them a lot since I believe these 2 things tend to be avoided mostly in religious and spiritual communities… Don’t you agree with me?

Anyways, my life has been much easier since I started asking most of my things to myself first. When I make a decision, I do tell me “This decision is executed by me.” no matter where the decision originally comes from. Even if it was a forced issue by some directors, I would ask & convince myself to take the responsibility. I just want to make the thing clear that the decision maker is myself.

So, I do less and less regret my decisions and actions. It has become my habit to ask everything to myself so that I would be ready to go any directions. Being ready to go any directions – good or bad – is my way of understanding what “self-responsibility” means.

There are some people who never want to take any responsibility, and they always blame someone, something, other than themselves for their problems. If that makes your life easier and nicer, I don’t stop you at all. I honestly don’t care.

I do just feel much better when I take responsibility regarding my own things. My decision is mine. If I fail it, then I should be able to find some other more exciting ways since I totally understand what I’ve done previously and what I would feel great about. To me, self-responsibility is to be as honest & true to myself, that’s all.

Self-responsibility is what you response/act/behave truly honestly to your heart and do not regret even if a negative issue is caused by it.

This is the definition in Shamballa.

By the way, please read my blog on your own responsibility as well, LOL.

  1. Hello. “the decision maker is myself” sometimes the most obvious things in life are the hardest. But I want to start asking to myself first. It sounds so nice 😊

    1. Thank you very much for your comment! Actually, no matter what you think, “You” are the one who take the action. That’s what (at least) I refer to “decision maker.” “My mother/father/husband/wife told me to do this! That’s not what I wished to do!” — some people say things like this in order to avoid taking any responsibility. But then, think about this: Who did actually take the action? your parents? spouse? …. I try not create any excuse or blame them if such things are failed. That’s all 🙂 Shire
